Contractor Requirements

Kennecott Eagle Minerals Company (KEMC) Contractor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Requirements are intended to provide a summary of practices to be followed at every KEMC site, and to provide a framework to embed proactive safety practices with the ultimate goal of preventing incidents.

Companies interested in contracting with Kennecott Eagle Minerals must comply with the following:

• Complete the Contractor Prequalification Form and email or fax it to Rob Williams at 906.486.1053 or rob.williams2@riotinto.com
• Become Pre-Qualified
• Comply with MIOSHA and MSHA Requirements
• Comply with all safety and security rules and the Drug and Alcohol policies of KEMC
• Comply with KEMC Insurance coverage Requirements
• Comprehensive General Liability
• Comprehensive Auto Liability, as applicable
• Workers’ Compensation
• Professional Liability, as applicable
• Commitment to a high standard of environmental performance
